Texas State Musical Theatre is dedicated to producing Broadway-caliber artists and change-makers grounded in a deep understanding of wellness, communal responsibility, integrity, and curiosity. In June of 2024, The Hollywood Reporter named Texas State one of the Top 25 Theatre programs in the world. In the summer of 2025, the program moved up 3 spots on the Hollywood Reporter’s list and continues to be among the top 10 musical theatre programs in the nation.
